Musical Theater Summer Camp

Thank you for your interest in the Glendale Academy Musical Theater Summer Camp. Our program is designed for students entering grades 9-12, and will cover the three basic areas of musical theater: Acting, Voice, and Movement. 

The program runs five days a week (except the first week: Wed. 5/16 - Fri. 5/18) from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon for 4 1/2 weeks. Classes are designed to stimulate your child’s creativity and imagination. There are over 20 roles. Each student will be cast as one of them! Each with a speaking part!

The instructors will be Mr. Matthew Payne (GAA Drama teacher) and Mrs. Valerie Gonzales-Tambaoan (GAA Voice teacher). 

Students are to come dressed in a comfortable fashion with tennis shoes. Snacks are allowed and there will be a 30 minute break to allow students to snack between sessions. Students will also need to bring the following to class each day: a water bottle, three ring binder (for script), and a pencil.

We look forward to a great summer of fun onstage with our production of Disney’s High School Musical. There are plenty of roles, which means a part for everyone to play! However space is limited, so sign up today. The registration fee (which covers the 4 1/2 week camp plus all rehearsal materials, costume, and a camp tshirt) is $375

Registration packets can be picked up in the Academy Office. Please complete the registration form and return it with a check (payable to GAA, memo: GAMT Summer Camp) for $375 to Ms. Anderson in the GAA office.
