GAA Spanish 1 and 2
Ms. Melinda Danesky is a native of Southern California. She attended Pacific Union College, La Sierra University and Loma Linda University where she earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. During her third year of college, she attended Colegio Adventista de Sagunto in Spain to immerse herself in the Spanish language program. After Graduate School, Ms. Danesky worked as a Speech Pathologist in the Baldwin Park Unified School District. In 1990, she joined the Glendale Adventist Academy faculty teaching Spanish and Office Procedures. Four years later, Health and English as a Second Language (ESL) were added to her responsibilities. Currently she teaches Spanish 1 and 2, Religion 1, and Study Skills. She has taught at GAA for 33 years. Ms. Danesky is also a Sabbath School teacher and pianist at Pico Rivera Bilingual SDA Church.
