Glendale Adventist Academy - Drama Students Get A Taste Of Hollywood

We strive to provide a safe learning environment, focused on personal attention, supported by dedicated and talented teachers/staff, within a caring Christian community.

Miss Amy Marcarian teaches English I & IV and a co-sponsor of the National Honor Society. Providing personal attention is a priority in her classroom.

Interactive Smart Boards are used in our Math departments. Mr. Hugo Gomez innovatively instructs his AP Statistics class by using this tool to enhance learning.

With beaker in hand and bunsen burner below, Mr. Brett Mohr ignites student's intellect and curiosity in Science classes. Lab experiments punctuate his kinesthetic approach to learning.

Mr. Brad Brandmeyer inspires his students in newly renovated Art Room.

Trumpets glowing golden under stage lights, GAA Jazz Band ends the evening with a fantastic finale at Christmas concert.

Both talented and well rehearsed, the Men & Women's Choir, Chorale, Band, and Jazz Band, fill the auditorium with spectacular sounds, on stage, and even in antiphonal (surround sound) formation.

GAA Men's and Women's soccer teams play final game at the Glendale Sport's Complex.

In support of a program called "Inside Out Reading," Glendale Academy students donate over 700 books to Central Juvenile Hall Library.

On February 1, 2013, the National Honor Society welcomes its new members.

Students & Faculty take time to relax, play, or grab a bite to eat in our Student Center. It's a place to stretch out after a full day of classes. (Take an online "Campus Tour," top menu bar).

There is a lot of love on campus. Just how much you ask? Watch our latest Project Jabez Video.

Glendale Academy is a place where friendships are made. In our Project Jabez ministry, groups of students are prayed for every week, given special privileges, and shown a video tribute created by their peers.

News and Announcements

A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is perhaps one of the most popular stories of the Christmas season. Dickens published his novella in the late fall of 1843. Meant as a quick means to make a little money, it turned out to be arguably his most popular piece of fiction.

Over the years there have many adaptations for the stage and screen, both musical and a straight play. Marrying fidelity to Dickens' words with open, simple staging and costuming, McDonough's script is fresh and highly performable. A Christmas Carol has been one of the favorite presentations on Christmas programs for more than a century. Now, Jerome McDonough's adaptation offers an exciting and lively style.

Glendale Academy Drama Department is proud to present this holiday classic. We invite you to be a part of our performance.
