Mr. Gomez is passionate about teaching students about the beauty of mathematics. He encourages them to enjoy the process of solving a problem rather than being focused on the right answer. His favorite moments in the classroom are when his students have an "aha moment." Mr. Gomez likes to solve riddles and puzzles given to him by his students. When he's not teaching math, you can find Mr. Gomez interacting with students in the student center, gym or halls of Glendale Adventist Academy.

 

Off campus, Mr. Gomez enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They like spending times outdoors. Camping is a favorite pastime of theirs. Some of their favorite spots include Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP, Grand Canyon NP, Big Basin NP and Leo Carrillo SP.
