hi there my name is Matthew Payne and I teach English film drama and healthier Glendale Adventist Academy where I've been teaching for 23 years I've loved being a teacher I love reading stories to life in my classroom in English I teach English 2 world literature to the sophomores where we explore stories from around the world in English 3 American literature I teach Juniors stories from right here in our own country the great United States of America and drama we bring stories to life on stage our drama Department produces two full-length Productions each year and every other year our drama Department sponsors a drama tour where students have the opportunity to go to New York City and spend a week on Broadway our film program bring stories to light on screen where I teach film one two three and four which features classes all the way from intro to film to Film Production our school has a wonderful working partnership with alumni who are working in the film industry who give who are film students by allowing them to work on set gear in Hollywood I am blessed to be able to teach at this school where I can share my love of literature drama film and help with my students I love to watch them grow physically emotionally and spiritually I am proud to be a part of Glendale Adventist Academy where Jesus Christ is our Focus I look forward to seeing you here on our campus
